Despite Arsenal loss, Leicester remains EPL leaders

Theo Walcott’s 70^th minute goal and Danny Welbeck’s late winner were enough to sink EPL leaders, Leicester yesterday as they were out-gunned by Arsenal in an EPL clash at the Emirate.
Leicester took the lead at the end of the first half after Jamie Vardy netted a penalty which was awarded following a foul play.
The Gunners however returned more determined in the second half and were boosted with the sending off of Leicester’s Danny Simpson who got a red card for a second bookable offence.
20 minutes to the end of the match, Walcott, who came in as a substitute, scored the equalizer which was consolidated by a 90^th minute goal from Welbeck.
Despite the defeat, Leicester however remain on the top of the league with 53 points followed by Tottenham Hotspur who are ahead of Arsenal on goal difference on 51 points.
Vardy also remains the EPL top scorer with 19 goals in 26 games.
