Lionel Messi has written another new chapter in his Barcelona career with his 300th (and 301st) Liga goal in just 333 games.

The Argentine made his Liga debut on October 16th, 2004 when he came on as a substitute for Deco against Espanyol.

Messi has netted 14 goals in 18 games against Real Madrid.

The Argentine has 15 goals in 14 games versus Levante.

Against Deportivo La Coruna: 15 goals in 12 matches.

Messi has 16 in 19 versus Valencia in La Liga.

Messi has 17 goals in 15 games against Osasuna and one of those saw him become Barca's all-time top scorer in all competitions.

In 18 Liga appearances against Sevilla, Messi has scored 19 times.

Against Atletico, the Argentine attacker has netted 21 goals in 20 Primera Division games. No other Liga team has conceded more.

Messi has faced 36 different teams in La Liga and scored against 32 of them. Xerez, Real Murcia, Cadiz and Las Palmas (the only one of them currently in La Liga) are the four he has yet to score against.

The Rosario-born forward has netted predominantly with his left foot. He has scored 48 with his right, including five against Racing Santander (more than any other club has received).

Messi has scored just 12 times with his head in La Liga, including three against Deportivo.
